Male grizzlies typically emerge out of their dens in mid-March. Female bears with their cubs tend to emerge mid-April.

This is an indicator that Spring is here and the ski season is coming to an end. Please note that Sunshine Village is the latest ski hill to close in the Canadian Rockies, scheduled to close at the end of May 2008. Sunshine Village then re-opens in November!

Ski Holidays for 2008/2009 can now be booked at this year’s rates!
